Golden Beach Wellness Center

The Golden Beach Wellness Center is a new civic facility designed to serve as both a health-focused amenity and a community landmark for the Town of Golden Beach. Inspired by the geometry of a nautilus shell, the building’s spiral form organizes movement, light, and structure into a continuous spatial experience. Fitness areas, gathering spaces, and wellness functions unfold along a curved circulation path that reinforces both physical activity and social connection. Beyond its formal expression, the project responds to the realities of coastal South Florida — addressing hurricane resistance, material durability, and long-term resilience. The structure balances sculptural presence with practical performance, ensuring the building functions as both architecture and infrastructure. The result is a civic space that promotes health, community, and identity — an architectural gesture rooted in place.
