Godfrey House

Located in the Northwood district of West Palm Beach, the Godfrey House began as an active construction site. Demolition had already started when we were brought in to assess the structure and guide the path forward. Working closely with the owner and builder, the focus shifted from removal to preservation. The project required stabilizing compromised framing, reconstructing key exterior elements, and carefully restoring architectural features consistent with the home’s historic character. Rather than replace the building, the effort centered on keeping what mattered — reinforcing the structure, refining proportions, and rebuilding with intention. The result preserves the presence of the original home while ensuring it performs to modern standards.
