We’re excited to celebrate the successful opening of Urban Roast, a new all-day dining and nightlife destination in the heart of downtown West Palm Beach.
Dempsey Design worked closely with the ownership team to transform an existing historic storefront into a vibrant hospitality environment that transitions from café and dining by day to a lively social destination at night. The project brings together architecture, interior design, lighting, custom detailing, and an expanded courtyard experience to create a distinct new addition to downtown.
Bringing the project to life required careful coordination within an existing building—from integrating a full commercial kitchen and new building systems to navigating permitting, landlord requirements, and the realities of construction in a constrained urban setting.
Seeing the space now filled with people is the most rewarding part of the process. We’re grateful to Urban Roast and the entire project team for the collaboration and trust that made it possible.
Urban Roast is now open at 201 Datura Street in downtown West Palm Beach.
